After 7 years being VocAppella member, one of our tenors now leaving the group.

It is with great sadness we say thanks for the effort and good bye to Pål Øyvind Tellman Nordengen. Pål Øyvind joined VocAppella August 2004 and has been a steady anchor in the tenor ranks since. With his soft and beautiful tenor voice he has added music and warm glow. At the same time he has been and still is skillful in terms of rhythm (not so strange because he is a very good drummer). Pål Øyvind is a perfectionist to the fingertips and he will not stop until the goal is reached and the sound is optimalised. We will not only lose a steady tenor, but also our rhythm maker.

Pål Øyvind has taken hold beyond the musical. He has created and designed our website and has been responsible for the management and operations around it. A job he has done very well and we´re very pleased with the final result. At the same time Pål Øyvind has been the clown and humorist in the group with his aptly comments and at times outrageous body language. Many rehearsels have ended in laughter, after one of Pål Øyvind's outbreakes.

Life is not static, meaning that everything has it´s time. After many good years Pål Øyvind has decided to withdraw from VocAppellas ranks. We are convinced that there is much new and exciting just waiting for Pål Øyvind. We can´t do anything else but thank you for those years we´ve had with you together in the group, for everything you have given, for the one you've been and everything we have learned from you. We wish Pål Øyvind all the best and good luck with the projects and challenges that lies ahead.
